How to set an automatic sales open and close date or close ticket sales manually
Set an automatic sales opening or closing date
To begin or end ticket sales on a set date, you can program an automatic sales opening date:
Go to "Campaigns" in your dashboard
Click on "Edit" to the right of the form in question
Navigate to the "Date and time" section
Underneath the event date, click on "add sales opening date" and set the date on which you'd like your sales to open automatically. Click "add sales closing date" to set the date on which you'd like sales to close automatically.
If left blank, sales open on campaign creation and close when the event ends.
Ticket sales will automatically close once your event's start date and time have passed. You cannot set the sales close date to occur after the event end.
ย Setting the close date in advance is currently only available for "event", "raffle" and "custom" type forms. Sales can still be closed manually for other form types (e-commerce, memberships, etc). If you wish to set a close date in advance for an e-commerce form, consider using a "custom" type form. ย
Manually close sales
If you don't have a set date and time on which you want your sales to close, you can manually close your sales from your dashboard.ย
Go to Campaigns in your dashboard
Click on the three dots to the right of the form in question
Click on the option "Close sales."
Additional donations can still be made on closed campaigns. To prevent additional donations from being made on a closed campaign, click "Edit" next to your campaign and navigate to the "Additional donation" section to toggle the option off.
Ending your campaign
Once your sales are closed, we also recommend ending your campaign. By ending your campaign, you will still have access to your payment date and campaign, but it will be filed under "Past" campaigns.
When selecting "End campaign" on a campaign with recurring payments (e.g. membership or donation), all recurring payments will be stopped. These payments cannot be re-started automatically. Donors and members will have to initiate a new recurring payment.
You can reactivate a campaign at any time:
Go to Campaigns and navigate to the "Past" tab
Click the three dots next to the campaign to view the option to "Reactivate campaign"
