Nonprofits That Use Zeffy - and Why They Trust Us

We know "free" can sound too good to be true. So here's exactly why over 100,000 nonprofits trust Zeffy, and why they stick around.

We're the only platform that's truly 100% free

Zeffy is the only 100% free fundraising platform for nonprofits. Here's what that means in practice.

Zeffy is completely free to use, and we even cover all transaction and credit card fees. That means 100% of every dollar your donors give goes directly to your mission.

No platform fees. No monthly subscription. No per-user charges. No payout fees. Nothing.

So how does Zeffy make money?

At the payment confirmation step, donors have the option, but are never required, to leave a small voluntary contribution to Zeffy. This is our only source of revenue, and it's what allows us to keep the platform free for nonprofits. Regardless of whether a donor contributes or not, 100% of what they donated to your organization lands in your bank account.

You can learn more about how this works here: Zeffy really is free: No fees. No catch.

Over 100,000 nonprofits have raised $2B+ on Zeffy without paying a single fee.

Organizations of all sizes (from small volunteer-run teams to established charities) use Zeffy to run their fundraising. Between them, they've raised over $2 billion and saved over $50 million in fees they would have paid elsewhere. That money stayed where it belonged: with their missions.

Zeffy's donor conversion rate is 50% above industry average.

The conversion rate is the percentage of people who visit your donation form and actually complete a donation. Our goal is to make that experience as simple and frictionless as possible — so more of your visitors become donors.

Here's how the numbers compare:

• The average industry conversion rate is 15% (see benchmark), and drops to 9% on mobile (see Abeja Solutions)

• Zeffy's average conversion rate is ~23% across all devices and ~24% on desktop
