Which Countries and Regions Can Nonprofits Use Zeffy In?
Zeffy is available to nonprofits and registered charities in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia.
Your organization must be based in one of these countries and meet Zeffy’s eligibility requirements. For country-by-country rules (EIN, bank account, charity status, and more), see Is my organization eligible to use Zeffy?.
Supported countries
Organizations can use Zeffy when they are located in one of these countries:
United States
Canada
United Kingdom
Ireland
Australia
Zeffy is not currently available to organizations in Africa, Europe (except the UK and Ireland), Central and South America, or Asia.
United States territories
Zeffy partners with Stripe for payment processing. For a US organization, Stripe requires the business to be physically located and registered in the 50 US states, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico.
Stripe does not support businesses located in other US territories or possessions. That includes Guam, the US Virgin Islands, and other outlying US territories. Organizations based there cannot complete Stripe verification and cannot use Zeffy.
Puerto Rico is the only US territory Stripe supports for US business accounts. Washington, D.C. is supported.
What to check next
Country availability is only the first filter. Your organization still needs to meet eligibility rules for your country, including having a bank account in the organization’s name.
