Sharing & promoting your campaign

Sharing your Zeffy campaign with your supporters and community

Create a campaign before you can share it

Every Zeffy campaign is automatically published and ready to share once you finish creating it. You must complete the full campaign setup and reach the Congratulations! Your campaign has been created message before sharing options become available. If the Share button is greyed out, your campaign is still in Draft mode and has not been published yet.

How to share your campaign

Once your campaign is live, you can share it through multiple channels. Choose the method that best fits your audience and materials.

Copy your campaign URL and paste it anywhere - email, text messages, newsletters, or messaging apps. Supporters click the link to open your full campaign page, including your description, images, logo, and nonprofit name.

How to Find Your Campaign's Share Link

πŸ“± Social media

Post your campaign link on Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, or other social platforms. You can also use the social icons in the sharing pop-up for a quick share to Facebook.

🌐 Website button

Add a custom button to your website – for example, "Donate Now" or "Register Today" – that links directly to your Zeffy campaign page. This keeps visitors on your existing site design while sending them to the full campaign experience.

πŸ–₯️ Website embed

Embed your campaign form directly into your website so visitors can complete transactions without leaving the page. Note that embedded forms display only the transaction fields and do not show your campaign description, images, logo, or nonprofit name.

πŸ† Peer-to-peer embeds

For peer-to-peer campaigns, you can embed the fundraising thermometer or the leaderboard on your website to show campaign progress and team standings.

Pause sales before you are ready to share

If you need to finish setup or wait for a specific launch date before accepting payments, you can manually close sales until you are ready to share. When sales are closed, visitors can still view the campaign page but cannot complete a transaction.

What to do next

After sharing your campaign, you can track performance in your dashboard, manage donor lists, and adjust settings as needed. If you want to stop accepting payments or remove the campaign from active view, you can archive the form or close sales.
