How to customize your campaign URL
Zeffy does not offer a setting to directly edit or customize a campaign URL after the form is created. Your campaign URL is automatically generated from the form name you enter when the form is first created, and it will not update if you rename the form later. If you need a different URL, clone the campaign with a new name or use an external URL shortener.
How campaign URLs are created
Your campaign URL is based on the form name you set during creation.
The form name converts automatically to a URL-friendly format.
For example, a form named
Spring Fundraiser 2025becomesspring-fundraiser-2025in the URL.The full URL pattern is
www.zeffy.com/[language]/[form-type]/[form-name].
Can I change the URL after creation?
No. Once a form is fully created, its URL cannot be edited or changed. Renaming the form later will not update the URL.
How to get a new URL
If you have not yet shared the form and need a different URL, clone the campaign and give it a new name during the duplication step. The new name becomes the new URL.
Log in on a computer and go to Campaigns.
Click the three dots next to the form you want to duplicate, then select Clone.
In the prompt, enter the new form name. This name determines the URL of the cloned form.
Click Confirm to create the new form.
Share the new form link. You can archive or delete the original form.
For detailed cloning steps, see How can I duplicate or clone my form?
Cloned campaigns may copy over old dates, images, and scheduled reminder emails as drafts. Review the cloned form before sharing it.
Use a URL shortener
Another option is to use a free external URL shortener. These tools let you turn a long Zeffy link into a shorter, custom link that redirects to your campaign. Bitly is one example, and many similar services are available.
