Configuring your campaign: thermometer and public donor lists

Adding a Fundraising Thermometer

A fundraising thermometer shows your donors how close you are to achieving your goal. It appears on your campaign page and updates automatically as donations come in.

On Donation Forms

To add a thermometer to your donation form:

  1. Go to Campaigns and click Edit next to your form.

  2. In the Fundraising goal section, enter your target amount.

  3. The thermometer will appear on your campaign page automatically.

To remove the thermometer, click the trash icon next to your fundraising goal in the form editor.

On Event and Raffle Forms

You can also add a thermometer to event and raffle forms — useful for 50/50 raffles where participants want to see the pot size.

  1. Go to Campaigns and click Edit next to your form (or create a new form).

  2. Click Fundraising goal in the left-hand progress bar.

  3. Enter your target amount.

On event and raffle forms, there is no public donor list — only the thermometer. If your event has multiple dates, the target is tracked per date.

Public Donor Lists

When you add a fundraising goal to a donation form, a public donor list appears below the thermometer by default. This gives your campaign a public, community-driven feel.

How to Hide the Donor List

If you prefer not to display donor names:

  1. Go to Campaigns and click Edit next to your form.

  2. Go to Advanced Settings.

  3. Toggle off "Display donor list publicly on my campaign."

Once disabled, the donor list will no longer appear on your form.

Donor Privacy

Regardless of whether the donor list is displayed, donors always have the option to remain anonymous when completing their donation. Anonymous donations never display the donor's name publicly. Learn more: How to Make an Anonymous Donation.

Editing Your Goal

You can adjust your fundraising goal at any time:

  1. Go to Campaigns and click Edit next to your form.

  2. Go to Fundraising goal in the left-hand menu.

  3. Update the amount or remove it using the trash icon.
