Payment methods we don't support (yet)

Zeffy currently does not support the following payment methods. If any of these are important to your organization, you can upvote the feature requests to help our team prioritize them.

PayPal

Zeffy is a fee-free alternative to PayPal, covering 100% of credit card processing fees. If you'd like to see PayPal added as an option, you can upvote and comment on this feature request.

Zelle

Zelle is not currently available as a payment method. You can upvote and comment on this feature request to help prioritize it.

Venmo

Venmo is not currently available as a payment method. You can upvote and comment on this feature request to help prioritize it.

Text-to-give / SMS campaigns

We do not currently offer text-to-give or SMS donation options. You can add this to our product request platform to vote for the feature and receive updates if our team begins developing it.

Checks under $1,000

Check payments are only available for amounts over $1,000. If you'd like to accept checks for smaller amounts, you can upvote this feature request. In the meantime, you can use the manual payment entry feature to record offline check payments.

Apple Pay and Google Pay on Auction forms

Apple Pay and Google Pay are available on most Zeffy forms, but they are not currently supported for auction campaigns. If you'd like to see this feature added, you can upvote and comment on this feature request.

For auction campaigns, bidders can pay using credit cards, debit cards, ACH/PAD, or cheque (for amounts over $1,000 if enabled by the nonprofit).

Apple Pay and Google Pay over $1,000 and on embeds

Apple Pay and Google Pay are available for most Zeffy forms on mobile devices, but they are limited to payments up to $1,000. These payment methods are also not displayed on embedded forms. For higher amounts or embedded forms, supporters will need to use credit cards, debit cards, or bank transfer (ACH/PAD) instead.
