- Create your free Zeffy account and attend a demo session (or watch the recording) to ensure Zeffy meets your organization's needs.
- Preparing your data: Export your existing data from your current platform including donor/contact information and payment history
- Format your data using Zeffy's import templates:
- Use the Payment Import Template for transaction history
- Use the Contact Import template for contact information
- Refer to this guide to import members and monthly donors
Important Considerations
- Email Addresses: Emails are the primary identifier in Zeffy. Ensure email addresses are consistent to avoid duplicate records.
- Required Fields: Some fields are mandatory for imports. Follow the template requirements exactly.
- Template Formatting: Do not modify column titles or add/remove columns from the import templates.
