Each Zeffy account can be connected to one bank account. If you have multiple accounts you would like to connect to Zeffy, you can open more than one account.
Our system is currently set up in a way where only one bank account can be connected to one Zeffy account. If you have a second bank account under your non-profit's name, you could open another Zeffy profile. In this second profile, you would be able to connect a separate bank account.
You will have to re-do the verification a second time, but you can use the same verification information for more than one account.
How to create a second Zeffy account
- To create a second profile, login to Zeffy and click on your name in the top left.
- Click on "Switch profile" and then select "create a new organization."
- You will be prompted to enter information to open a second account for your organization. You can provide all the same information as you did for your first profile.
What if my legal information is the same, but my profiles operate under different business (donor facing) names?
The same legal information can be used to verify the Zeffy account, but you can have accounts with different business (donor-facing) information. You can update the "doing business as" name of your Zeffy profile once it has been verified.
Here is how: How do I set my 'Doing Business As' name?
Important notes about having multiple profiles
- If you create a second profile while you're already logged in, you will be able to access all of your accounts using the same login credentials.
- Despite using the same login information, these accounts are not linked. Each account must be individually verified and members of your organization have to be added to both profiles.
- Forms and payments cannot be transferred between accounts
