- The refund will be processed to the donor's original payment method
- The funds will be returned to the donor's account within 5-10 business days
- The process cannot be stopped or undone once started

Best Practices to Avoid Refund Mistakes
- Double-check all refund details before confirming
- Verify the refund amount carefully, especially for partial refunds.
- Ensure you are refunding the correct transaction
- Confirm the refund action with the donor beforehand if possible
What Do I Do If I Have Refunded a Payment Mistakenly?
If you've accidentally initiated a refund, since there is no way to reverse it, you can invite the donor to make the payment again if necessary. Here are our suggestions on how you can do so:

Create a "custom sales" form with a ticket listed at the amount which was accidentally refunded. Then, you can send them the form directly through Zeffy using the emailing option that is found on their contact page. In the emailing tool, you can add a "pre-filled form" variable and select the form you created with their item. All they will have to do is enter their payment method. The funds will be transferred directly to your organization.
