Here's what to do if you've been outbid in an auction and are trying to place a new bid, and run into an "Invalid Bidder Token" when using your bidder profile link.
What to do
To successfully place a new bid, return to the main auction form (the same link you used to place your first bid) and fill out your information again. Your new bid will go through normally.
➡️ Tip: If you're not sure where to find the form again, check the original link provided by the organizer.
Why this happens:
This rare error can happen when the system is temporarily unable to retrieve your bidder profile. Your previous bids aren't lost, you'll simply have to place a new bid using the general auction form instead of your bidder profile.
Will I still get notified if I'm outbid?
Yes! You’ll continue to receive outbid notifications by email, so you’ll know right away if someone places a higher bid than yours. You can then go back to the general auction form, and place a new bid from there.
