When bidders participate in your Zeffy auction, their names are now displayed publicly on the auction page alongside their bids. This feature was designed to increase excitement around bidding and create a sense of healthy competition among participants.
How It Works
- Public Display: When someone places a bid on an auction item, their name becomes visible to other visitors viewing the auction page
- Real-Time Updates: As bids are placed, the current high bidder's name is shown in real-time
- History of bids: Your bidders can click on the item to open see the history of previous bidders, and their bids as shown below:
At this time, it is not possible to turn off the bidder names being shown publicly. If you receive feedback from bidders who prefer their names not to be displayed publicly, we encourage you to vote on this feature request!
