Create a new form in the "Volunteering" section of your Zeffy dashboard.
You can easily create volunteer registration forms in Zeffy.
- Log into your Zeffy account on your laptop.
- Click on "Volunteering" in the menu bar on the left, and then create a new form.
- Choose between a one-time volunteer opportunity (typically for specific events), or a long-term volunteer opportunity.
- Add General Information, such as the name of the volunteering opportunity or a description of the opportunity.
- Personalize your form by changing the color of the form, and adding a photo or your logo.
- Create activities! This is where you can select the number of volunteers you are looking for for a given activity and will help limit signups for a given activity type.
⚠️ Please note that our forms don't currently don't support AM/PM timing. To have the correct time displayed on your form, you will have to use military time. If this is a feature you would like to see on our forms, we invite you to upvote this feature request here to help our product team prioritize your suggestion.
- Add questions: you can ask your volunteers as many questions as you'd like. Questions can include short-form questions, multiple-choice questions, or even a checkbox option, which is great if volunteers need to confirm that they've read a waiver.
- Click "Create" at the top right-hand side of the page. Remember to always save your progress! When you click "Create", your form will not automatically be shared anywhere.❗ It will be up to you to share your form with your community, so please don't forget to hit save!
Sharing your volunteering opportunity
You can find the link to share your volunteering opportunity by going to "Volunteering" > "Opportunities" in your dashboard.
Click on the name of your volunteering opportunity.
This will direct you to another page with a unique URL to your volunteering page.
Share this URL link with your community to allow your volunteers to sign up for your volunteering opportunity.
